SEVENTEEN rose from years of pre-debut training and online livestreams into a self-producing group, debuting in 2015 and building their success through teamwork, creativity, and a strong connection with fans.
Before debuting, SEVENTEEN spent several years training under Pledis Entertainment, with some members like S.Coups and Woozi training for particularly long periods and helping shape the group’s early direction. They gained attention through the online series Seventeen TV, where fans could watch their progress, practice sessions, and daily lives before debut. During this time, members like Hoshi began developing choreography while others contributed to songwriting, building the self-producing identity they are now known for. Their pre-debut years were marked by hard work, uncertainty, and growth, laying the foundation for their strong teamwork and creative control.
